When the page loads, tap "Allow" if your phone asks for location. This lets PlayFind show you things nearby, sorted by how close they are to you. If you skip it, just type your suburb into the search box instead.
You'll see a list of coloured cards. Each one is a venue or event near you. Tap the card to flip it open and see the full details — opening hours, price, a description, and directions.
Every card shows a small badge — GREEN means open right now, ORANGE means closing soon, RED means closed. This is based on today's date and time.
The circular button floating above the bottom bar switches between list view and map view. In map view you can see all nearby places as pins. Tap a pin to see its details, or tap "View Tile" to jump back to the card.
When you tap a card to open it, the map button changes colour to match that card. Tap the map button while a card is open and it'll take you straight to that place on the map.
Tap the Free button in the bottom bar to show only places with free entry. Great if you're looking for a day out without spending anything.
Filters by accessibility needs. Options include Wheelchair Access, Sensory Friendly, Pram Friendly, Companion Card and Concession. Pick whichever ones apply to your group.
Opens a list of activity categories — things like Mini Golf, Trampolines, Bowling, Zoos, Beaches and more. Tap any category to see matching places near you.
Narrows down results by what matters to you — Indoor, Outdoor, Free Entry, Food Available, Parking, Toilets, Pram Friendly and more. You can select multiple filters at once and they all apply together.
Tap the Weekend button in the bottom bar to switch to weekend mode. It shows only things happening on Saturday or Sunday — you can toggle between the two days at the top of the results. Tap it again to go back to today's view.
Type a place name or activity (like "bowling") into the search bar and hit the button. It'll filter results to match what you typed.
If you already know the name of somewhere you want to visit, just type it exactly into the search bar — for example "SEA LIFE Melbourne" or "Bounce". It'll find that exact place straight away.
Open any result card and scroll down — tap "Accessibility info →" to see details like wheelchair access, sensory-friendly info, pram access, and whether Companion Cards are accepted.
At the top of the results page you'll see a Where bar. Tap it and type a different suburb to search somewhere else — handy if you're planning a trip or visiting family.
At the top of the results page you'll also see a When bar showing today's date. Tap it to pick a different day — great for planning ahead to see what's on next weekend or during school holidays.
Open any card and tap the Directions button at the bottom. You can choose Google Maps, Apple Maps, Waze, or Public Transport to get there.
Tap the Feedback button in the bottom right corner to send us a note. You can also report an issue directly from inside any result card.
